Rodent

The American Red Squirrel is a common squirrel. Unfortunately, it is mistaken for a chipmunk because of the reddish color and the eastern grey squirrel. They live in trees and eat nuts, seeds, berries, and sometimes insects. It lives in the same range as the eastern grey squirrel. It even acts similar, they bury nuts so they can find it later and eat it. They also hibernate, but unlike bears who sleep all winter, they wake up and eat when they are hungry. They appear after the snow melts.
