The Black Vulture is a large new world vulture that lives from the south eastern United States all the way down to Chile and Uruguay in South America. It can be seen out on the Caribean islands such as Cuba. It is mainly a scavenger and eats the dead animals that larger prey or humans have accidently killed. Its head is not overed feather which helps it with eating. A good examplation is that feathers can carry viruses and bacteria, while skin does not. Most of the time you will see these flying around in groups serching for there next food.
