The Eastern Cottontail is a common species of rabbit that lives in eastern North America. They are very timid species of animal that has no defense, but it does have some unique strategies. It is a fast runner, it lives underground or in bushes and have great sense of hearing and smell. The other thing about these gentle animals is that they reproduce large amount of offspring, so there is no way they lose out to a predator.
