The Garden Snail is a land snail that lives in peoples garden. It is considered to be very helpful to the garden. It has a incredable defence. Its shell and its slime. The shell is the snails home, when treatened it would hide in its shell. The other defence is that when danger is to much it produces more slime that makes it harder to eat. All snails have both male and female genders so once they come in contact with other snails it is able to pass its genetic code. The garden snail prefers damp climate so it hides under things to stay out of the sun. Garden snails are plant eaters and eat only low lying plants compared to the slug.
