The Great Blue Heron is a majestic bird. When it hunts it moves through the water with grace and position. When it finds, its prey it will long beak at the prey like a harpoon. It mainly eats fish and amphibians like frogs and toads. There is usually one Great Blue Heron per lake or pond, but they do come together to breed and build a nest usually around lakes and calm rivers. It one of the largest birds to live in the city.
