Hairy Wood Ant is a species of ant. They live in the forest in stumps, and logs. Like all ants, they live in colonies of hundred of ants. There are guards, forgers, warriors, nurses, builders, and a queen. They eat wood and other celleosis. They can be pests to homes. They have a rivalry towards other ants and termites.
