June Beetle or May Beetle

A May Beetle or June Beetle is a beetle that is common in gardens and forests. It is considered to be a pest because it buries its young the white grub under the grass. They do not have any defense except for its hard shell which protects it from most predators. It is common food for spiders, frogs, and so on. It is mainly a vegetarian. May Beetles can fly, under the shell is a pair of wings. There is one problem they tend to run into things people and windows. If they fall upside down they can turn over but sometimes the shock is to much and die. In the early mornings around pools, you could find the bodies of these beetles floating in pools.
