Prairie Dogs are a very important animal in the prairies of North America. They make communities that they have maintained the grass around there community which allows them to keep to see predators. Some off their homes may abandon and become homes for Burrowing Owls, Coyotes, and many other animals. The grass is a favorite to Buffalo. A prairie dog community have a sentry which keeps eye out for predators. Their main predators are Hawks and Coyotes.
